Associate Geotechnical Engineer

Kim Nesbitt joins the Cartledge team from South Africa as an Associate Geotechnical Engineer and is a member of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM). Kim has three decades of technical and practical industry experience. She has proficient and confident communication skills with all levels of mining personnel and strives to understand client requirements to provide agreed solutions and monitor compliance to appropriate standards.

Kim has managed geotechnical operations ranging from opencast to underground mining environments, including conventional narrow tabular and block cave mining operations. Her experience includes working on operations mining commodities such as gold, chrome, diamonds, manganese, iron ore, quartz silica, vanadium and coal. Kim is now keen to apply her experience to the Australian mining industry.
