Engineering Geologist

Benjamin is a skilled engineering geologist who joined the Cartledge team in November 2023, with the ambition to learn and grow his career. Benjamin previously spent 5 years in Mt. Isa as a Geologist and Rock Mechanic in an underground copper operation and has previous experience as a geologist in both the exploration and production streams.

In his new role, he has been providing remote geotechnical design reviews for several Bowen Basin coal mines, and on-site operational support for an open cut gold mine.

Benjamin is a highly motivated and driven professional with a proven record of successful delivery for clients and co-workers, and by joining Cartledge he is hoping to gain greater operational and project experience across the mining and civil industries.

Benjamin is currently completing a Masters of Engineering Science (Geotechnical Engineering) to gain the necessary qualifications to progress his career as a geotechnical engineer.
